Dandelion Pet Boarding was born after we experienced poor-quality rabbit boarding, which left our beloved bunny stressed, upset and unlike his usual self. It was clear the rabbit sitters we chose were ill-equipped to deal with the unique care demands of small animals.
As dedicated pet owners, we knew there had to be a better way. While there are many pet sitters for dogs and cats in the local area, small animals are often forgotten about, leaving a lack of passionate and knowledgeable rabbit sitters nearby. After restoring our rabbit to his usual healthy happy self, we planted the seed for Dandelion Pet Boarding by starting the build on our purpose-built pet boarding facility.
Now, we have luxurious hutches for up to 12 rabbits and 4 guinea pigs (with additional space to accommodate hamsters and gerbils). With long-term knowledge of the complex needs of these gorgeous furry creatures, we are perfectly positioned to provide your pet with a safe and loving home while you are away.
We only accept small pets to reduce stress for our guests. Specialising in the care needs of smaller animals ensures they feel nurtured and happy.
With multiple pets of our own, we know how important it is for you to leave your animals in a place you know they will be cared for as family.
No matter the time of day or night, if your animal shows signs of stress or illness, we will always ensure the appropriate action is taken.
